I went on Nissan’s Mexican website to do a bit of scouting before I released another post tonight and this is what Google Translate decided the Nissan Versa Note translated into...

Kinja'd!!!

Sound advice according to all the Versa Note reviews that I’ve read lately...also, looks like everyone’s favorite Tsuru soldiers on for the 2016 model year as well as the last generation Tiida...

Have a Versa Note. Can confirm that Google Translate is correct.

My mom has a Versa Note and its not that bad, but certainly not the best in the segment. BTW, i’m Spanish and in Mexico its called the “note”, if it was 2 words (no te) it would be “do not” but if it was noté it would be “noticed”.

Funny how that works huh? Basically you can go to Mexico right now and buy a brand new 1991 Sentra. Volkswagen did the same thing with the og Beetle for the Mexican market up until 2003.

And in Chevrolet’s website you can choose from all 3 generations of the Spark!

Yes, and I’m pretty sure not, unfortunately...

The original was said to be the BMW 2002 of its day in terms of driving prowess, a pretty high achievement for a runty little FWD econocoupe...

Actually I’d say that warning comes from Google because in Spanish it just shows up as “Note”...

Yeah, I just think that since it was one word Google got confused and tried for the next best thing and split it into two...

I drove a new March yesterday, me gusta! Basic but neat! Waaay better than the Audi A1 I drove today

Interesting! We get neither in the states but that is not a conclusion I would have expected from a Euro car guy like you...makes me want the March here as our cheapest car over the abhorrent Mirage that Mitsubishi offers...

I remember growing up when these were not so old and reading about them in magazines. Always seemed like a great platform. I never see them around anywhere though.

Likely all crashed, riced, or rusted. 90’s Japanese metal was not the strongest.

Wow, did not know that one! The Spark? Seriously?

the only thing worse than 90s japanese metal was 80s japanese metal. Such a shame.

Italian metal ranks right there with it. I guess you could say that most cars from that age were products of the time, meant to never leave the era they were produced in.

The Tsuru looks like a car designed to spit in the face of pedestrian safety regulation design lol

Well unlike most italian metal the japanese metal from the time still runs at least.

Well the first one is called by the majestic moniker of the Daewoo Matiz!

Kinja'd!!!

But it’s basically just an older Spark since new Sparks are also Daewoo cars...

Ah yes the Matiz. Very interesting! I forget about Daewoo. Been out of the states for quite some time now.

And unlike most japanese metal the italian metal from the era hasn’t desintegrated. If only someone had combined the two...

Shit.
